JUST KEEP SWIMMING, JUST KEEP SWIMMING
. . . LOOK AT OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
& UPCOMING DATES:

Here is the plan for THURSDAY, January 28th:
  • Help Hildebrand take attendance
  • Put up the Spelling Bee Sign in the MPR
  • Vote on the name of our dance and finalize food so we can prep for ordering.(let the dance team lead this).
  • Have Hildebrand print out the Valentine Grams--I will leave the paper in the front office for her.  There is a larger paper cutter behind the mobile whiteboard in our classroom.  Please print and cut all of the Valentine Grams (leave them hidden in my desk in the ASB room). Please cut them with the help of Hildebrand. (My copy code for ASB is 1414)
  • Have everyone who is not working make posters to put around campus about the dance and the valentine grams.   If you have time. . . hang them on campus in high interest spots.  (the signs in the ASB room currently look awesome!  They are your best yet.  Please hang them with care.  They must look great when they are up as well.
  • Have Hildebrand print out flyers for you as well.  Students may share.  But you two must PROOF all flyers.  Anything that looks wonky is a reflection of the TEAM.
  • Homeroom Wars-- please send your email and share your ppt with Ms. Nuskin.
  • Dance folks, please email Ms. Wheeler and Hildebrand about face painting stations at shirt stations at the dance.
  • There should be a post on Instagram EVERY DAY about the dance and the valentine grams.
  • Everyone should be working at all times.  Remember, find work and make me proud.
  • Plan on doing Homeroom announcements on Friday when I return.  Let the team know.
  • Do a room check in the end and you will be all set.

Thank you for your awesomeness every day.  This is your moment to lead the class-- be brave, make good decisions, and do the best you can to keep everyone on track.  You can do it!

I am so proud to have you lead the pack.  Happy Wednesday. - Ms. C

Please fill out the contract as well so I can be assured that we are all on the same page before we begin.  I look forward to working with you this term!
Mascot Assignment:
This week you have been tasked with developing an idea for the marketing of our mascot search.  Remember that your team may choose from the following approaches: PowerPoint or PowerPoint-like presentation; A flyer; A Social Media Campaign, A Commercial.

Your table family needs to make a 60 second pitch for your marketing concept considering the following elements:
  • WANTED: A MASCOT; FREE the PANDA.
  • You need to have something visual to present.
  • You all need to participate, but you don't all need to pitch.  You can decide who is the best man/woman for the task.
Your pitch is due THURSDAY, September 3rd.  You will have the first 30 minutes of class to organize.
Your finished product is due a week from THURSDAY - That's September 10th
